What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a listing of fans of a particular subject - in this case, a relationship between two fictional characters. When you join, your details (name, email [this can be hidden], URL [this is optional], and country) are listed on the member page. Fanlistings serve no real "purpose" except to attempt to build the biggest list of people from around the world who are fans of the same subject. What's in a name?

I called this site Heart and Soul on the basis of the following quote from the copy of Midnight Sun, page 78, that Stephenie Meyer posted on her website: "If Carlisle was the soul of our family, then Esme was the heart. He gave us a leader who deserved following; she made that following into an act of love."
